All the while, it’s about what it means to come of age and ask for more of yourself in modern America.

Who am I?
My name is Connor Belcastro. I graduated from Princeton University in the spring of 2024, and I’ve moved south to pursue my dream of playing professional golf on a major tour.
While in school, I studied philosophy. This means two things: I’m an over-thinker, and I have a degree in putting those thoughts in writing. Over-thinking rarely helps in golf, so I try to make things simpler. This newsletter is a space where I do exactly that.
Professional golf is complicated. Looking in the mirror and getting more from yourself is hard. But writing clarifies a lot, and this clarity is what I’ll deliver to your inbox each week.
Why am I doing this?
During COVID, I took a year off school and played golf all day. I went more or less insane. I realized the value of having things in my life other than golf. I’ve always loved writing, and bringing you my story and viewpoint gives me a great creative outlet.
Plus, it’s a huge help to me. I’m a huge believer in the power of storytelling, and putting my journey in writing helps me clarify all the reasons I’m going to make it. Hopefully you can take away some confidence for yourself.
